counties. We offer you a cosmetology education with support and a wealth of
knowledge that will help you complete your training, while preparing for the
Georgia State Licensing Exam. We take pride in developing the “Whole Woman”
(i.e., health, hair, skin, make-up, consultation, etc).
Courses
This class is designed for cosmetology professionals that have completed training and need to be updated on practical and theory lessons to prepare for the Georgia State Board Exam. Prepping your State board kit and practice tests are included with training.
Trichology is the science of the structure, function and disease of the human hair. This is an in depth science course that will help you identify scalp disorders, hair loss symptoms and disease such as alopecia areata and much more! (coming soon)
The master cosmetology program consist of 1500 credit hours of practical and theory concepts. The student will learn the arts and science of hairstyling, hair cutting, permanent waving, color, chemical hair relaxing, sanitation, anatomy, chemistry, nail care, skin care, professionalism, retail knowledge and salon management. (Requirements: High School Diploma or GED)
Do you have passion for the beauty industry? Do you want to shape the minds of future cosmetologist? Then look no further, the cosmetology instructor trainee programs consist of 750 credit hour. The first 250 hours are devoted to classroom workshops, where you learn principles, technical information and laws, rules and regulations of the State Board. The remaining 500 hours are spent in the clinic area, where you gain practical experience. You will have the opportunity to showcase your talents to teaching students under close supervision of your instructors. (Requirements: You must hold a Cosmetology License for a minimum of one year)
The esthetics program consist of 1000 credit hours of practical and theory concepts. The student will learn key concepts of anatomy and physiology of the skin along with understanding body systems such as circulatory, endocrine, respiratory, digestive and muscular. The student will also learn ingredient analysis, facial techniques, massaging, makeup application, hair removal and waxing, safety, sanitation, sterilization and salon management.
